Account and access terms
ID
Your account ID. It's the one identifier that belongs to your Skyexchange account for as long as the account exists. We issue it. You can't create one yourself, and no form on any website will hand you one. The Skyexchange ID page explains how to ask for yours.
Login ID
The username you type into the platform to sign in. On Skyexchange that's the same thing as your account ID, so don't go looking for a second one. It's usually a short mix of letters and numbers, and on most platforms capitals matter, so type it exactly as we sent it. The Sky Exchange login page shows where it goes.
Demo ID
A practice account with a pretend balance so you can click around the platform without putting money in. Ask us and we'll set one up. You can't withdraw from a demo, because there's nothing real in it. The ID vs demo ID guide lines the two up side by side.
Registered mobile
The phone number we attached to your account the day we created it. It's how we recognise you in chat, and it's the number we check against when you ask for a password reset. If you change numbers, tell us.
Password
The secret you type on the platform next to your login ID. That's the only place it ever goes. Not on this website, not in WhatsApp, not to an agent. If you need it changed, that goes through us. See the password reset guide.
Session
Everything between logging in and logging out. Sessions time out after a stretch of inactivity, which is the usual reason a page suddenly wants you to sign in again. Nothing is wrong when that happens. On a shared device, end every session by actually logging out.
Account recovery
What happens when you've lost your password and can't get at the registered mobile either. We'll need to check who you are before we hand anything back. The account recovery guide tells you what to expect.
Roles in the hierarchy
Agent
The person who deals with users directly. Agents bring people on, pass requests to us, and manage limits inside the range their master has set. They sign in through the agent login page.
Master
One step above an agent. A master looks after a group of agents and decides how much room each of them has to work with. Masters use the admin and master login page.
Admin
The top of the operational tree. Only we create admins. They oversee masters and platform-level settings. The roles guide compares all three levels properly.
Panel
The management screen an agent, master, or admin uses to see and adjust the accounts under them. Each role gets a different panel. None of them shows a password.
Official team
Us. The Skyexchange support staff you reach through the WhatsApp link on this website. We issue IDs, handle deposits and withdrawals, reset passwords, and confirm every change to an account. Our channels are listed on the Official Channels page.
Market and platform terms
Exchange
A platform where users take positions against each other instead of against the house. Skyexchange works this way, which is why you'll keep meeting words like back, lay, and exposure.
Market
One event or one question you can take a position on, such as who wins a match. Each market has its own odds and its own available amounts.
Back
Backing an outcome means you think it will happen. If it does, your position wins at the odds you took.
Lay
Laying an outcome is the other side of the coin. You're saying it won't happen, and in effect you're offering odds to the people backing it. A lay wins if the outcome doesn't come off. It also carries a liability, and that liability counts toward your exposure.
Odds
The price on an outcome, which tells you how much a winning position pays back relative to what you put in. On an exchange, users on both sides set the odds. The platform doesn't fix them.
Stake
The amount you put on one position. It comes out of your available balance when you place the position and comes back, with any winnings, if it succeeds.
Liability
The most a lay position can cost you. It's usually bigger than the stake because it's worked out from the odds you offered.
Exposure
Everything you currently have at risk across all your open positions, added up. It's shown apart from your balance so you can see at a glance what's free and what's tied up.
Balance
The money in your account. Most screens split it into available balance, which you can use, and exposure, which is committed. We confirm balance changes after every deposit and withdrawal.
Settlement
The point where a market is decided and the wins and losses land on balances. Until then, your stake or liability sits in exposure.
Money terms
Deposit
Putting money into your account. You ask us in the WhatsApp chat, we send the current instructions, you pay and send the receipt. There's no other route. The deposit and withdrawal guide walks through it.
Withdrawal
Taking money out. Same as a deposit, it's requested and confirmed in the official chat. Stay in the conversation until we say it's done.
Receipt
Proof you paid, usually a screenshot or a transaction reference. Sending it to us in the chat is how we match a deposit to your ID. Without it we're guessing, and we don't guess.
Limit
The most an account can commit. Your agent sets it inside the range their master allows. Limits move through the hierarchy, not by you changing a setting.
Security terms
OTP
A one-time password or code sent to your phone. We never ask for it. If anyone does, whoever they say they are, that's fraud.
KYC
Know Your Customer, the general name for identity checks. On Skyexchange any check of that kind happens with us, in the official chat. Never through a form on some other website.
Phishing
Someone trying to trick you into handing over your login details, usually with a fake page or a message pretending to be support. The security checklist lists the habits that beat it.
Lookalike domain
A web address built to pass for skyexchangess.in. A swapped letter, an extra word, a different ending. These sites copy our logo and login box and keep whatever you type. See how to spot fake Skyexchange sites.
Padlock
The little icon next to the address bar that says the connection is encrypted. It doesn't prove a site is ours. Lookalikes can have padlocks too. Check the spelling of the domain as well, every time.
Two-step verification
An extra lock on your WhatsApp account. It asks for a PIN whenever the account is set up on a new phone, so nobody can hijack your WhatsApp and message us as you. Turn it on.
App and device terms
APK
The Android install file for the Skyexchange app. We share the real one on our WhatsApp and nowhere else. It isn't hosted on this website. Never install an APK from a group or a download site. The Skyexchange app page shows the current version.
Add to home screen
How iPhone users get an app-like Skyexchange. Open the site in Safari and add it to your home screen. There's no separate iOS app, so anything claiming to be one isn't ours. The mobile login page walks you through it.
Cache
Copies of pages and files your browser keeps so sites load faster next time. When the cache goes stale you get old error pages or broken layouts. Clearing it is one of the standard fixes in the website not opening guide.
DNS
The system that turns a domain name into the address of a server. When a site loads on one network but not another, a DNS block or a stale DNS record is usually why.
Site and brand terms
Skyexchange 247
Round-the-clock access to the platform through the official site. It isn't a separate website and it isn't a separate app. The Skyexchange 247 page explains what it means day to day.
SkyExchangeSS
The name of this website, skyexchangess.in. It's the only official Skyexchange site. There's more on the About page.
Responsible gaming
The habits that keep play within safe limits. You must be 18 or over, you set your own limits, you know the warning signs, and if you need to step away, we can arrange self-exclusion. Read the Responsible Gaming page.
Terms you should never hear from the official team
We will never ask for your password, your OTP, remote access to your device, or payment to a number that wasn't shared in the official chat. If a conversation includes any of those, you're not talking to Skyexchange. Verify on the Official Channels page and report it through support.
