Skyexchange Account Recovery

The SIM is gone, or the ID was written on a phone you no longer have, or you opened the platform and saw activity that wasn't yours. A normal password reset can't help with any of that. Skyexchange account recovery is what our team does when one of the two anchors on the account, the login ID or the registered mobile number, is missing or can no longer be trusted. Find your case below and follow it.

Which Skyexchange account recovery case is yours?

Work out your case first, because the steps and the checks differ for each. Forgotten password, everything else intact? That's a reset, not a recovery, and the password reset guide sorts it in one chat. Recovery starts when the ID or the number is gone.

ScenarioWhat is missingHow we confirm it is you
Forgot login IDThe IDYou message from the registered number; we find the ID linked to it.
Lost registered mobile numberThe numberYou show the old number was yours and answer questions about the account; we then update the number.
Phone stolenThe number, and maybe an open sessionWe close sessions first, then change the number and reset the password.
Someone else got inTrust in the passwordSessions closed, activity checked, password reset from the registered number.

Case 1: you forgot your login ID

Easiest one. The ID was tied to your mobile number the day we issued it, so we can look it up. Open the official WhatsApp from the Official Channels page, message from the registered number, and say you need your login ID. After a short check we send it in the chat. Forgot the password too? Ask for both in the same conversation.

Case 2: the registered number is gone

The registered number is normally how we know a request is real, so without it we have to confirm you another way. Expect it to be slower and more careful. Message from your new number, give the login ID, say the old number no longer works, and be ready for questions. Please don't try to speed things up by having a friend or an agent vouch for you in a separate chat. We act only on our own checks.

Case 3: the phone was stolen

Move fast here, because whoever has the phone may have an open session, saved passwords, and your WhatsApp. In this order: block the SIM with your carrier, log WhatsApp out of all devices from a second device, then message us from any number you control and tell us the phone was stolen. We close every open session on the ID straight away, before starting the checks to change the number and reset the password. Once you have a replacement SIM on the same number, the rest is a normal reset.

Case 4: someone else has used the account

The signs: activity you didn't do, a password you didn't set, a logout while you were mid-session, or a saved browser password for a domain that isn't skyexchangess.in. Message us from the registered number, say the account is compromised, and ask for all sessions to be ended and the password reset. Then find out how they got in. Nearly every case we see traces back to a fake login page or an APK from a group. How to spot fake Skyexchange sites shows you what to look for.

What we may ask for during recovery

The checks exist to tell you apart from someone holding your phone or your ID. In general terms we may ask for:

  • Your login ID and the mobile number that was registered on it.
  • Things only the account holder would know, such as roughly when it was opened and how you got it.
  • Recent activity you performed, so we can separate you from an intruder.
  • If the number itself has to change: something reasonable that shows the old number was yours, and the new number to register.

We never ask for your password, an OTP, card or bank credentials, or a fee to recover an account. Confirm the chat on the Official Channels page.

Recovering the account, step by step

  1. Lock down what you still hold. Stolen phone or suspected intruder? Block the SIM, log WhatsApp out of other devices, and change the passwords of your email and anything else that shared a password.
  2. Open only the official WhatsApp. Use the button below or the verified link on this site. Ignore any number that messages you offering recovery.
  3. Say which case you're in. Send your login ID if you know it, the registered number, and one line: forgot ID, lost number, stolen phone, or compromised.
  4. Answer honestly. If you can't remember something, say so. Guessing looks like an intruder probing the account and slows everything down.
  5. Wait for confirmation. We tell you when sessions are closed, when the number is updated, and share a temporary password if one was reset.
  6. Change that temporary password first. Do it from the Sky Exchange login page before you touch anything else on the platform.
  7. Clean your devices. Remove any unofficial APK, delete saved passwords for unknown domains, and reinstall the official app only via WhatsApp as described on the app download page.

How long it takes

A forgotten ID with the registered number in hand is normally one conversation. Changing the registered number takes longer, on purpose, and the time mostly depends on how quickly you answer. We can't promise a fixed duration. Anyone who promises instant recovery for a fee is not us.

So it doesn't happen again

  • Write your login ID down somewhere that isn't your phone. The ID alone isn't secret; the password is.
  • Keep the registered number alive. Changing numbers? Tell us from the old number before it stops working. That's a quick update. Recovering afterwards is not.
  • Use a unique password and a screen lock, so a stolen phone doesn't hand over the account.
  • Bookmark skyexchangess.in and log in from the bookmark only, never from a search ad or a forwarded link.
  • Log out after every session on a shared or family device.
  • Go through the security checklist once, and again whenever you change phones.

Recovery scams

Account recovery is a favourite story for scammers. They message people claiming to be support and offer to restore access if you share an OTP, a password, or pay a verification charge. We do none of that. Recovery starts with you, through the WhatsApp link published on this website, never with a message you didn't ask for. If you're locked out and not sure the chat you're in is real, the login not working guide lists the checks to run, and Official Channels has the number to compare against.

Frequently Asked Questions

I forgot my Skyexchange login ID. Can you find it from my number?

Yes, as long as you message from the registered mobile number. We linked the ID to that number when we issued it, so a short check is enough to look it up. From any other number we cannot confirm the account is yours, and we will not share it.

My registered mobile number is gone. Is the account still recoverable?

Yes, but slower than a normal reset, because the number is usually our proof. We will ask for details only the account holder would know and, in some cases, something that shows the old number was yours. The general types of proof are listed on this page.

Will you ask for my ID card or bank details to recover the account?

We may ask you to confirm details that are already on the account. We will never ask for your password, an OTP, card numbers, or a fee. A chat that asks for any of those is not our team; close it and check the Official Channels page.

Someone else has been in my account. What is the very first thing to do?

Message the official WhatsApp from your registered number right away, say the account is compromised, and ask us to close every session and reset the password. Do that before anything else. Then remove any unofficial APK and delete saved passwords for domains you do not recognise.

Would it be easier to just get a new Skyexchange ID?

You can ask for one on the Skyexchange ID page, but the old account and any balance on it stay locked to the old ID. Recovery is nearly always the better route, and if a fresh ID really is the only option we will tell you.
